The Grand Hotel in Ogunquit was an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The hotel's set up was fantastic, with clean and comfortable room accommodations. I especially loved the private balcony that provided a lovely view. The location was perfect, as it was very close to Perkins Cove, the Marginal Way, and many delicious restaurants. Being central on Shore road made it easy to explore the area. The breakfast served each morning was a delightful spread, with an ample variety of bakery muffins, pastries, juices, cereals, and fresh fruit. The staff, especially Heidi at the front desk, were incredibly knowledgeable and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future!

The room at Escale de Loire was absolutely charming! It had a unique and cozy decor that made me feel right at home. The private bathroom with a shower was a great bonus, and the free toiletries and hairdryer were a nice touch. As a laid-back guest, I really enjoyed the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of this room.
The only thing that I personally didn't love was the size of the bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others might still find it perfectly enjoyable.

The location by the river was stunning, and we enjoyed taking a leisurely walk along the bank. The homemade breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with delicious warm croissants and homegrown fruit compote. The quirky decor and charming ambiance added to the experience.
Finding the entrance door was a bit of a challenge at first, and the parking was around the corner in a public area, which made it difficult to access at times. However, the location was safe and quiet, and the owner was helpful in recommending a nearby restaurant. Additionally, parking in alternative spots made it easier to come and go.

The hotel was located near a river with a beautiful view of the moon reflection at night. Fresh croissants and different sets of china were available for breakfast every morning.
The entrance door was hard to find, and the parking area was quite far from the building. it was winter which is not an ideal time to travel to this area.

We had an amazing stay at this quirky and unique bed & breakfast. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the eclectic and imaginative decor throughout the multilevel house. the room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was huge with plenty of furniture. Sebastian, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and his artistic touch was evident in every corner. the breakfast he prepared using produce from his own garden was absolutely delicious. We felt incredibly lucky to have found this hidden gem and wished we could have stayed longer. The location, just a few meters from the river Loire, offered beautiful views of the tree-lined river bank and was perfect for peaceful walks. Cons: Nothing to be said. 🌟.
